So my story was 4 long years but actually on Saturday I received the best news ever, my offer/compromise was excepted. If you have any doubts call these amazing people at this company they held my hand the entire time, worked so very hard I owed tons and because of them it's a very small amount, it does take time the *** does move slow, thanks **** and ur entire staff for working so hard on my case. This company is the best, any doubts they are with you the entire time, like I said we became ***'s during these last 4 yrs, but in the end they truly care about the clients that really became my go to and did an outstanding job. Thanks again to all the staff, they truly do care and our willing to stay the course of helping people, they are truly dedicated to each individual and will get you what you need, it was hard doing this for 4yrs, but in the end I am now going to be able to finally have my tax debt resolved for pennies compared to what was owed, it's all do to this place and I've made people with names turn into friends, if you have tax debt and don't know what to do please give this company a call they will resolve your overwhelming debt to the ***. 4 yrs doesn't even begin to be as bad because I've had a huge problem lifted off me because of these amazing staff, I am not a patient person but will all the assistance I was given even when I sometimes wasn't nice, they were always there for me and was truly 200% into helping me, Thanks again to each and everyone that got me through this stressful process.Posted on BBB

But as time progressed and TDS made it so I wouldn't be garnished or even seizing our home. And each time I contacted their office, there was a helpful pleasant voice on the other end. She was very honest and informed me within five minutes that I didnt qualify. Three years ago, Optima Tax Relief basically stole $500 from me and took days to tell me I didnt qualify. Unfortunately, later last year, I lost my job and was forced to retire on a severely reduced income. Koppi Beskid29 January 2026After almost 2 years my IRS debt is still unresolved. All I have been told is they are still waiting for a response from the IRS to my offer. There was absolutely nothing accomplished, my account still says "in Jeopardy of lien or levy" when I login. I could have submitted a hardship form myself and waited years for a response, instead of paying $3k. Andy Robertson1 October 2025Tax Debt Services were great for resolving some old tax debt we had for years with our business. We sought help from another company and paid them only to find out they would not negotiate with the IRS for us. They only prepared back tax returns that were due (at an exorbitant price) and said you don't qualify for an Offer In Compromise; just set up a payment plan with the IRS. We were highly dissappointed and paid for years on the taxes hardly making a dent. Tax Debt Services was totally professional, kept us informed at every step and negotiated in our behalf to get an Offer In Compromise for less than 20% of what we owed. Paulette Bodine22 March 2024Tax Debt Services is the very best! The have so much patience especially what I have been going through. I have been sick for years they happened to call me one day at one of my lowest days. I had no idea what I was going to do. I felt like I needed a miracle to happen which I have never ran good in life at all. My payments had been 360.00 to the IRS for over a year and 200.00 payments prior to that for years. I had added up all my payments and I still had the same amount being owned. Interest snd and penalties were killing me. I didn't even know if this company was legit but I had to trust in someone. They offered me payments of 256.00 a month but they also let me split the payments so I started working with them. I still didn't know if they were legit. I was scared to death. There were times I was crying and screaming at them on the phone. Keep in mind I had just gotten diagnosed with brain tumors which ucsf is still working on a 2 part surgery. Along with grand mal and focal seizures. Tax Debt didn't give up on me. I even thgt they were working for the IRS. I was emotionally drained. The end of my year was reaching and the irs denied the offer.
